As a Christian therapist, I work with couples and individuals to help you discover your God-given purpose and identity as someone made in the image of God with inherent value and self-worth. I am blessed to work under the supervision of Dr. Theresa Thomas, LMFT-S, AAMFT-AS, a seasoned therapist and professor who offers a wealth of knowledge that enhances my clinical work. I offer a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard and understood. With empathy and compassion, I will listen to your story without judgment. I believe in your potential for growth, and will guide you toward positive change with the confidence that you can overcome challenges and thrive, in God’s strength.

My Goal as a Christian Counselor
As your counselor my primary goal is to create a compassionate, faith-based environment where you can navigate challenges and life transitions and discover your God-given identity and purpose. I will provide support that nurtures mental well-being, healing, and growth. My hope is that you will experience freedom from stress and anxiety and gain tools to cultivate healthy relationships. I pray that you will leave our sessions feeling empowered to live out your purpose with confidence, joy, and faith in God’s plan and purpose.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I believe that our sense of self-worth is closely linked to many of the mental health issues that individuals face. In therapy, I will guide you through the process of challenging negative core beliefs, helping you to overcome obstacles and unlock your potential. My therapeutic style is encouraging, collaborative, and positive, drawing on emotionally-focused therapy and solution-focused therapy to support you in achieving meaningful and lasting change.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
Providing a faith-informed approach to counseling offers a unique blend of emotional healing and spiritual insight, helping clients gain both practical tools and a deeper sense of purpose. By integrating faith into the therapeutic process, clients can find hope and clarity when addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles.
My faith shapes the way I view each person as inherently valuable, with a purpose that goes beyond their circumstances. I draw on both evidence-based practices and spiritual principles to guide clients toward healing and transformation that aligns with their values and goals for a more fulfilling life.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a concentration in trauma from Abilene Christian University and Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a Minor in Business from The University of Texas at Austin.
My Call to Christian Counseling
During the pandemic, I realized the overwhelming need for mental health support. In my previous career as an entrepreneur, what truly brought me joy was helping people feel inspired, hopeful, and heard. When asked what superpower I’d choose, I said, “to make others instantly happy.” While I can’t magically create happiness, my deep empathy has always driven me to do more than just listen to those who are struggling. Becoming a therapist feels like a natural extension of who I’ve always been, and though I can’t offer instant happiness, I can walk alongside my clients on their journey toward it, with God’s help.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I have been married for almost 10 years and am a mom to two girls. I started playing tennis around three years ago and am currently the co-captain of a tennis team. I attend Bible study weekly. I’m also involved in my children’s PTA and the co-chair for parent education, where I have the privilege of bringing speakers to our school. My free time is spent with my girls at the soccer fields, dance, or gymnastics.

Women’s Issues
I am passionate about supporting women through life transitions, helping them foster healthy relationships and achieve personal goals. Balancing my roles as a therapist, business owner, and mother of two, I have a deep understanding and affinity for assisting moms with identity struggles and managing stress and anxiety in their journey through motherhood. In therapy, I will guide you through the process of challenging negative core beliefs, helping you to overcome obstacles and unlock your potential.
Anxiety
Anxiety is an epidemic in the world today. As your therapist, I will help you identify fears and worries, explore triggers, challenge negative thought patterns, and guide you as you learn to cope with anxiety in a way that helps you function and thrive. I help clients develop practical tools to manage their anxiety, build resilience, and regain control of their thoughts and emotions.
Online Counseling
I have grown to love online counseling and the accessibility it gives my clients to receive therapy. I often work with busy moms who do not have the time or ability to make it to sessions in person. With experience in this medium, I have found it easier to connect with others than I ever would have imagined!
Marriage Counseling
As a trained Marriage and Family Therapist, I have experience and success in working with couples struggling with communication, infidelity, connection, and parenting. Watching couples grow and begin to work as a team is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work as a therapist. Using emotional-focused therapy, I help couples understand one another on an emotional level. By creating a safe space for honest communication, I guide couples toward recognizing and expressing their emotional needs and fostering a stronger connection. Through this process, I help couples break negative patterns, build trust, and develop a more secure bond that promotes lasting change. I strive to guide couples toward healing and reconciliation using biblical principles of grace, love, and respect to help couples build a Christ-centered marriage.
Relationship Issues
As a trained relational therapist, my approach is rooted in a relational lens, recognizing the significant impact our relationships have on our well-being. I guide clients toward healthier and more supportive bonds, whether it be with family, friends, or significant others. We are all impacted by the relationships around us and by exploring these connections, we can better understand their impact and establish stronger, healthier interactions with others.
