Mary Moseley, M.Ed., LPC-S, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with more than fifteen years of counseling experience, I offer a compassionate, welcoming space where you can share your concerns and learn effective techniques to overcome. Drawing from both personal and professional experience, I can relate to many of the struggles that my clients face and I am here as an example and a testimony that the best is yet to come in the freedom that can only be found in Jesus Christ. I look forward to seeing how the Lord uses your counseling journey to usher light and hope into your life.
“You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” – Psalm 18:28

Online Counseling – Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu & Fri
As your counselor, I’m here to tell you that there’s so much hope and life on the other side of what you are experiencing. I would be honored to have the opportunity to walk with you through this journey as I help you learn to take back the things that the enemy has stolen from you. Together we will partner with the Holy Spirit and the truths that come from the Word of God to help you learn to live the abundant life that Jesus died to give you.
“The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as a Christian counselor is to guide my clients from the darkness that they are currently experiencing into the beautiful light and hope that is found in Jesus Christ. My continual prayer is that what has seemed impossible in their lives prior to coming to therapy would be proven possible through the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth of the gospel. I look forward to walking my clients toward the inner healing and freedom that is only found in Jesus Christ.
“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a warm, inviting, safe space where you will be able to speak freely about the challenges that you are facing without being judged or feeling condemned. My aim is that our time together will leave you with hope for the future. Depending on each client’s comfort level, I usually start sessions with prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to lead us through our time together. We will also look to the Word of God and find Scriptures that will assist in guiding you so you are not left defenseless but with the Sword of the Spirit in your hands after each session.
“Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” – Psalm 119:105
My Approach to Christian Counseling
As a Christian therapist, I am able to provide a biblical perspective that secular counseling does not allow. As the inevitable storms of life come, I have the honor of showing my clients how to stand on the never-shifting foundation of the Word of God. Where their family or friends may have hurt them or failed them in the past, I can speak truths of the One who will never fail them and who will never leave them. By inviting the Holy Spirit to lead our sessions, what may take individuals weeks, months, or even years to change on their own, He can bring revelation, hope, and healing in moments. Clients are able to leave sessions knowing that they have encountered the Healer Himself.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with 16 years of mental health experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas and a Master’s degree in Education and Counseling from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
My Call to Christian Counseling
I had a traumatic childhood until I was six years old when I was adopted by a Christian couple. Before my adoption, my siblings and I experienced abuse and I disclosed the information to my kindergarten teacher. She was the one who called the authorities and in reality, saved my life. Because of her profound impact in my life, my initial career was as an elementary school teacher. It was there that I realized the huge need for empathetic Christian counselors. I then chose to go back to school to get my counseling license to not only help children but also adults and families.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I love the outdoors – being in nature, walking, fishing, enjoying the Texas sunshine. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. I have a heart for intercession, remaining active in my church, and ministering wherever the Lord takes me.

Abandonment and Neglect
God created us to be unique, relational beings with an intrinsic desire to be loved and belong. Sadly, for many people, that has not been their experience. No matter what your life experiences have been, you are still worthy to be loved, cared for, and respected. Sometimes there are people in our lives who have been unable to meet these needs, which leaves us feeling broken and disregarded. My goal in our therapeutic relationship would be to help you rebuild trust with others and confidence in your personal value based on the Creator’s design and not on your life experiences.
“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” – Deuteronomy 31:8
Anxiety
Are you ready to take your life back? Are you ready to tell fear and anxiety to go and never return? We can “feel” anxious but it does not have to take over our lives and hinder our ability to move forward with the plans that God has for us. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). Let’s work together to take back your life so that you can live the life that you were created for – one filled with peace, love, and much joy.
Depression
Depression is a thief. It can steal from every aspect of our lives and can even make getting up in the morning seem next to impossible. When struggling with depression, our thoughts and emotions overtake us and we struggle to get out from under the weight of it all. During our sessions together, we will work to reframe those thoughts and in return begin to change our emotions.
As difficult as it may be in the beginning, getting active and taking small steps to change our daily routines into healthy ones will go a long way in the healing process. We will work together to consult the Word of God for Scriptures of hope and encouragement that will sustain us on the tough days and feed our souls.
Psalm 23:4 says, “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.”
Trauma
Unfortunately, many of us have experienced some type of trauma during our lifetime. A single traumatic event can cause significant changes that may leave us unable to understand why we act the way we act, why we think the way we think, or why we make the choices we make. We may not understand why something seemingly insignificant can cause us to respond in a disproportionate way.
For Christian clients, it is essential that we combine the process of healing trauma with the Word of God. During the healing process, I will help you walk through the truth of the gospel in order to bridge the sufferer with the One who is more than able to heal. During our time together, I will help you explore the hidden places of your heart and mind that you might be unaware of.
I will help you look at yourself through the eyes of Christ without judgment and come to a deeper self- awareness of the healing that He offers to you as a free gift. Together, you and I will create a safe place for you to openly share your story and begin the healing process so that you are able to learn to live a life of peace and joy with a future and a hope.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” – Jeremiah 29:1

Testimonials
“If you are desiring counseling from a Biblical perspective, then we highly recommend Ms. Mary Mosley. In the eight years we have known her we have witnessed Mary counseling many people, including ourselves and all five of our children and many of our church friends. Mary’s deeply loving heart leads her to be persistent in her efforts to see her clients totally healed, delivered, and transformed.
Mary freely uses the word of God to help diagnose thorny problems, point her clients to God, and help them to understand their identity in Christ. Finally, Mary is remarkably gifted with Biblical prophetic insight. This allows her to lovingly connect deeply with her clients to help them feel comfortable while open up to the deepest and most hurtful wounds behind their challenges so they can be caringly and effectively addressed.
In short, we highly recommend Mary Mosley’s counseling services to anyone who is ready to “go deep” in discovering and addressing the root causes of persistent problems.”
